How do I update my nickname in MyChart?

If your name in MyChart is showing something other than your legal name, it means you have a nickname, also called a preferred name, saved in your profile.

To change it:

  1. Navigate to MyChart either on www.my.froedtert.com or the Froedtert & MCW app.
  2. Select Menu (☰) in the top left corner, then scroll to the bottom.
  3. Select Personalize.
  4. Select Edit Profile under your name.
  5. If you are looking to change the nickname for someone you are proxy for, select Edit Profile under their name.
  6. Type/change the Nickname field.
  7. Select Save.
