Proxy access lets you view and manage a patient's health information through your own account. This might be for a child, a spouse or someone you care for.
With proxy access, you can help manage their care by scheduling appointments, viewing test results and sending messages on their behalf.
This access is designed to support caregivers and family members while still protecting the patient’s privacy and keeping their health information secure.
I received a notification that I’ve been granted proxy access - now what?
Once you’ve been granted proxy access, you can view and manage the patient’s account by signing in to your own Froedtert & MCW account. Follow the steps below to get started:
- Navigate to MyChart on www.my.froedtert.com or the Froedtert & MCW app.
- You may see the option to switch to the patient by selecting their name after you log in.
- If not, select your profile (your initials) in the top right corner.
- Select the patient’s name from the Friends and Family drop down.
