Proxy access lets you view and manage a patient's health information through your own account. This might be for a child, a spouse or someone you care for.
With proxy access, you can help manage their care by scheduling appointments, viewing test results and sending messages on their behalf.
This access is designed to support caregivers and family members while still protecting the patient’s privacy and keeping their health information secure.
I received a notification that I’ve been granted proxy access - now what?
Once you’ve been granted proxy access, you can view and manage the patient’s account by signing in to your own Froedtert & MCW account.
Follow the steps below to get started:
Froedtert & MCW App Instructions
- Sign in to the Froedtert & MCW app.
- Select MyChart.
- Select the patient’s name to switch to their account.
Browser Instructions
- Sign in to www.my.froedtert.com.
- Select your profile (your initials) in the top right corner.
- Select the patient’s name from the Friends and Family drop down.
